I am a Minnesota Licensed Marriage and Family therapist working in Private Practice in Burnsville. I specialize in relationships from the systems and Emotionally Focused perspectives. I believe each individual is on a path of growth that includes finding the life balance that works best for him or her; and requires the flexibility to allow changes in this balance as growth occurs and life unfolds new chapters. I also believe that individuals were created to be in relationship, and function most effectively when they experience secure attachment in primary relationships.
Finding Life Balance means recognizing that each area of our life is important to a healthy lifestyle; and the primary areas needing balance can be grouped into the areas of - Mind, Body and Connection.
MIND = Purpose, Seeking Knowledge, Curiosity and Creativity
BODY = Rest, Nutrition, and Exercise
CONNECTION = Love, Family, Friendships, and Faith Life
My balance in life includes marriage since 1994, three adult sons, new and long-term friendships and membership in my faith community. I am continually striving to improve my rest, nutrition and quality of exercise. I also enjoy adding creative outlets, and learning new information and skills.
I work with individuals and couples in the areas of marriage/relationship work, premarital, parenting, anxiety, depression, grief & loss, and Christian counseling (only when requested). I also enjoy individual and dyad supervision with marriage and family trainees.

At this time I am seeing clients virtually using a HIPAA compliant telehealth platform provided by Simplepractice. Clients receive a personal link to each appointment.
